Itinerary Changes

Southern Eagle Tours reserve the right to change routes, accommodation or arrangements at no or little prior notice, should circumstances require such changes.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 25% is payable on making the booking. The balance of the payment is due 30 days before departure. Failure to do so could result in the cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

Airline tickets

As soon as a deposit is received from a client, all flights that form part of a tour are confirmed by full payment to the respective airline. In the case of a cancellation from the client, the refund on the pre paid airline tickets are subject to the cancellation policy of the respective airline. The below cancellation policy does not apply to airline tickets.

Cancellation

If a tour is cancelled, cancellation fees will be due and payable according to the following:

30 – 45 days before the starting date of the tour, 25% of tour price
14 – 29 days before the starting date of the tour, 50% of tour price
7 – 13 days before the starting date of the tour, 75% of tour price
0 – 7 days before the starting date of the tour, 100% of tour price

No refunds will be made for no-shows or any unused services.

Southern Eagle Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure in which event we will endeavour to make satisfactory alternative arrangements on your behalf, failing which the entire payment will be refunded without any obligation on the part of the company.

Insurance

It is recommended that guests have adequate insurance to cover personal accidents, medical expenses, loss of luggage and loss of deposit through cancellation.

Southern Eagle Tours, nor any person acting through or on their behalf, shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever in respect of person or property arising from any cause. We shall not be responsible for loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, accident, injury or death, nor for any extra expense incurred as a result thereof.

Passports, visas, vaccinations, inoculations & entry permits

The responsibility to obtain correct, current and valid passports, visas, vaccinations, inoculations and entry permits that are required is that of the guest alone. Southern Eagle Tours will not be held responsible or liable for any consequence of any nature arising from the guest failing to ensure that he/she has complied with all such requirements.

Airlines

Southern Eagle Tours act as an agent only for airlines and accordingly accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, injury [fatal or otherwise], accident, delay or any other irregularity howsoever arising. Southern Eagle Tours makes every effort to ensure that all the arrangements and services connected with a passenger’s itinerary will be carried out as specified and/or in the most efficient way possible. However, we do not have direct control over the provision of services by the airlines and, whilst they are in all cases selected with the utmost care, we do not accept liability for errors and omissions of such suppliers.
