Welcome to South Africa, country of gold, diamonds, wild animals, unspoilt natural beauty and a larger cultural variety than in almost any other country in the world.
You will be met at the Cape Town International Airport (or any other location in Cape Town) by a Southern Eagle Tours representative who will hand you all your travel documentation which includes accommodation vouchers, car rental vouchers and detailed maps. A detailed route description will be done and you will be assisted in collecting your rental vehicle.

You travel to Cape Town Airport where your rental vehicle is handed back in time for a flight to Johannesburg Airport, from where you fly to Livingstone, on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls. At the Livingstone Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Falls, to which you have unlimited access. |

|
|
|
A full day to spend at the Victoria Falls, where you can witness the greatest mass of falling water on earth as it plunges down a sheer rock face, spraying its mystical mist hundreds of meters in the air. A final highlight today is a romantic sundowner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. |

| Day 7 - Mpumalanga/Limpopo Province - Kruger National Park Border |
|
|
|
Today's route:
You depart from Johannesburg, traveling east to the Mpumalanga Province and visit the many attractions along the “Panorama Route”, including God’s Window, the Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels and the historic gold mining town of Pilgrim’s Rest. In the late afternoon you descend the eastern escarpment and travel through the warm “lowveld” to the charming town of Hazyview, just minutes away from the world famous Kruger National Park. You overnight at a beautiful country lodge, a short distance outside the town.

After an early breakfast at the lodge you travel the short distance to the nearest entrance gate to the Kruger National Park. Once inside the Park, excitement will mount as you start seeing some of the numerous animals that inhabit this magnificent wildlife sanctuary. You spend most of the day travelling inside the Kruger Park arriving at your “restcamp” in the late afternoon. Accommodation tonight is in comfortable en-suite bungalows or cottages, and dinner can be enjoyed in the camp restaurant.
