Partly Escorted South African Tours have been designed for the traveler wishing to combine the freedom of a self drive tour with the peace of mind of a fully escorted tour.
Typically, the less accessible northern region of South Africa is provided on a fully escorted basis during which time you will have the full benefit of your tour guides extensive knowledge and experience. The fully escorted section is followed by a self drive around Cape Town and the garden route.
During the first part of the South African tour your Southern Eagle Tours tour guide will hand you all your travel documentation for the rest of the tour, including accommodation and car rental vouchers and maps. He will also spend some time doing a detailed route description of the self-drive part of the tour with you.
During the fully escorted section of your tour, the following is taken care of:

• All transport in luxury air-conditioned vehicles
• Domestic flights, if necessary
• Breakfast and dinner daily, with some lunches included
• Gratuities during included meals
• Gratuities for luggage handling
• All entry fees
• All excursions
• 24 hour services of a registered, professional safari/tour guide

• Detailed route descriptions
• Detailed maps
• All travel documents, including accommodation vouchers
• Optional mobile phone for the duration of your tour (must be reserved in advance)
