You depart from the Johannesburg International Airport on a Federal Air flight to the luxury private game lodge of your choice. At the game lodge airstrip you are met and transferred to your lodge, where the next four nights will be spent. Later this afternoon your first exhilarating game drive in specially adapted open 4X4 vehicles is undertaken. At dusk sundowners are enjoyed deep in the bush, after which the drive continues, making use of spotlights to search for nocturnal inhabitants of the African bush. A final highlight today is a specially prepared dinner enjoyed under the stars around the crackling campfire. (weather permitting)

You spend three full days at the lodge. Twice daily game drives and a daily guided bush walk are included, during which your skilled ranger and tracker will share with you their intimate knowledge of the African bush and all it’s inhabitants. This is “Big 5” country (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo), and the thrill of viewing these magnificent animals (and many others) from up close will stay with you for many years to come.
