Nestling amid coconut palms on one of the island's finest beaches, La Pirogue offers space and privacy, and the resort is renowned for the warmth of its personnel. Recently renovated, all guestrooms are at ground level and open privately onto the palm-grove and the turquoise sea, with the rustic charm of volcanic rock, wood, thatch and shades of coral and vanilla. Deluxe guestrooms are situated closer to the sea. Each is equipped with its own air-conditioning unit and comprises twin beds or a double bed, bathroom with separate bath and shower, toilet and 110/220-volt socket for electric razor, a mini-bar, a hairdryer, a television set with satellite channels, a telephone with international direct dialing, tea and coffee making equipment and a furnished private terrace. Room service operates 24 hours a day.
