Introduction
Chobe Game Lodge, the only permanent game lodge situated within the Chobe National Park, is Botswana's premier venue for guests looking for a perfect base to explore the Chobe National Park & Chobe River. Chobe's wildlife roams in abundance and diversity. It is home to the largest concentration of elephant in Africa and during the dry season these herds, as well as large herds of buffalo, congregate along the fertile flood plains of the Chobe River. Magnificent sightings of lion, wild dog, puku, red lechwe, sable, giraffe and roan antelope are also frequent in the area.

Facilities
The lodge can accommodate up to 94 people in total luxury, offering a choice of land or water activities and the most complete game experience in the Chobe area. Other facilities include a large swimming pool with terrace and a riverside boma area where a Marimba band or traditional dancers can perform. Meals are catered for at the terrace restaurant overlooking the Chobe River. Our fully equipped and air conditioned conference room seats a maximum of 45 to 90 people, depending on the seating configuration. For guests needing to keep in touch, broadband internet access is available at the Thwene bar, a stylish cigar bar with a champion sized billiard table and outside terrace overlooking the Chobe River. Chobe also has a reference library with lounge and terrace. All 47 rooms at the lodge are river facing and air conditioned with overhead fans, complimentary mini bar, en-suite bathrooms and private terrace. For those guests who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Chobe Game Lodge has four river view suites, each with their own plunge pool and a separate lounge area.

Activities
Game drives are conducted in open sided 4X4 vehicles ensuring maximum visibility, while game viewing on the Chobe River is conducted by small, shallow draft and highly maneuverable boats, perfect for morning or sunset cruises. Enjoy a cruise along the Chobe River on our double-decker river cruiser, the Mosi-oa-Tunya with on board bar & snacks. Our resident professional guides & environmentalist also offer star gazing on our stargazing deck. Children
No children under 12 years are accepted. No children under the age of 16 are allowed on walking safaris. No childcare/babysitters are provided for at any of our properties. Children must be under the care of their parents at all times. Children aged 16 yrs (inclusive) & younger to share with a parent at all times
