Mr. David Rees & Mrs. Mia Rees
Southern Eagle could give most companies (our contact was Billy) a lesson on how to communicate with customers. All our email exchanges were answered promptly and precisely, which is so unusual these days. They’ve been a real pleasure to deal with.
Our guides Patrick (for the Kruger) and Will (for the Cape region) were very agreeable and helpful throughout, we really enjoyed their company. Patrick’s knowledge of bird life added an extra dimension to our tour. Will was always very agreeable and tolerated our non-stop questions in good humour. From the self-guided part of our tour to our final days in Cape Town, the meet and greet arrangements worked perfectly and everyone involved was very punctual, in fact our guides and drivers always arrived early.
Our particular tour was one of stunning contrasts, starting with Victoria Falls (in full flow) followed by the wildlife of the Kruger National Park, then our exceptional stay at the Jackalberry Lodge and ending with the vibrancy of the Waterfront in Cape Town and all of the wonderful landscapes of the Cape region. It really was something special.
If we were doing it all again, we would stay an extra day at Livingstone and an extra day in Cape Town to be able to take better advantage of all the activities on offer.
Our overall impression is that this holiday was very good value for money, was well organised and an experience not to be missed. We are happy to recommend Southern Eagle and we would gladly use their services again.
