Comment of the month:

Dear Billy,

I would like to extend our sincere thanks for arranging such a fabulous trip in such a beautiful country such as South Africa. Firstly we were extremely pleased with the very professional, prompt and polite service that was extended by yourself during the booking stage and are very grateful for having taken into consideration all our preferences and requests. In summary we loved all the hotels and the places where we stopped for our pit stops ( lunch/dinner). We felt that all the places of stay were well researched by yourself and were top notch. A special thanks for organising a larger vehicle with all our luggage which made the travel very comfortable. Both our guides (Martie and Kris) were one of the best we have come across in all our travels.

A much more detailed feedback is as follows (As I am aware we did not get to hand in the survey).
Coming to the first leg of the trip Protea Hotel was very comfortable and its ambience was brilliant with lots of greenery. On the first day we were greeted promptly by Martie. Martie indeed lived up to your description as a top guide with excellent knowledge of flora and fauna of Kruger. Her keen eye with regards to the wild life amazed us. My wife was specially touched by how attentive she was to our and my son’s needs . She certainly has set the bar high with regards to a guide and to be honest we never felt we were travelling with a guide but felt as if we were accompanied by a friend over the course of the 4 days. We felt that she went an extra mile to make the trip special. The place of stay (Hippo Hollow/ Satara/ Kapama) we thoroughly thought were brilliant. Kapama River lodge was brilliant with regards to the service and the very courteous nature of the staff and most enjoyable game drives. We are so pleased that my son was allowed to come on the game drives and we were amazed how much a 3.5 year old had retained from his experience of the drives.

The second leg of the trip was equally amazing. We were again greeted promptly by Kris at our hotel. Kris knowledge of the area was amazing again with the geography, flora and fauna was brilliant. He took extra effort to stop at quite a few view points for some wonderful pictures. Where the itenary allowed Kris was specially kind to incorporate additional experiences such as the Cango Wildlife Ranch and Knysna Elephant Park which our son loved. Kris was again prompt, very polite. Our hotels were amazing and very comfortable. We fell in love with the décor of La Plume and the views form Bradach Manor was spectacular.

Both our guides were the best, we extend a special thanks to them and are a true asset to your company. Last but not the least they were appropriately dressed Description: Image removed by sender. *;) winking (bearing in mind one of the questions from the survey). I attach a few pictures we took with them and will be grateful if you could forward it to them.

We are happy for you to post this review on our behalf on either the trip advisor link if you have one or I could copy it on to your face book page if you send me your link. We would be more than happy to recommend you to our colleagues and family. Maybe in a few years we ourselves would like to do Botswana (Mombo) and Victoria falls (fingers crossed).

Many thanks
